Rocchetta Mattei

Its an eclectic building from the second half of the 19th century that mixes different styles, from the false medieval to the moorish. It was projected by the Count Cesare Mattei, an intellectual, politician and a self-taught medical doctor who focused his work on finding a cure for cancer; his work was renown worldwide particularly in the homeopathic field and contributed to the formation of the Electro-homeopathy therapy, attracting people from all over the world to his bizarre castle.

Still today, we can appreciate the architectural heritage left by the count Mattei and his son
